A Lifelong Love for Travel
Travel has never been merely a profession for me — it has always been a calling shaped by experience, curiosity, and intuition.
As a teenager, I once accompanied my mother to a travel agency. Our desired summer destination seemed impossible — fully booked. Yet instead of declining, the consultant began researching, making calls, reviewing connections, and step by step creating a solution.
I was fascinated.
In that moment, I understood something essential:
For the right person, “impossible” is simply the beginning of a solution.
That belief has guided my entire professional path.
Over the years, I gained experience in several renowned travel agencies in Berlin — in leisure travel as well as in the business travel sector, with tour operators and within destination management companies. I also worked in the luxury DMC segment, helping to design and operate highly customized programs for international guests.
Through these diverse roles, I came to understand every facet of the travel world: operations, logistics, supplier negotiations, demanding client care, crisis management — and the quiet art of making complexity appear effortless.
In 2011, I founded my own travel agency in Berlin, driven by the desire to shape journeys independently, with responsibility and a deeply personal signature.
With the years, it became clear to me that my heart lies in the refined and meticulous composition of individual luxury journeys — journeys that are not off-the-shelf, but created with dedication and intention.
I love the details.
The subtle transitions.
The right moment in the right place.
The balance between experience and stillness.
The confidence that every element has been chosen with care.
I am convinced that every journey deserves to be unique — because it becomes part of a person’s life story.
It is my sincere wish not simply to create a beautiful trip, but to craft the most beautiful journey of a guest’s life. An experience that feels effortless and natural — and yet is thoughtfully designed in every detail. A journey that remains.

A Lifetime Devoted to Travel
Looking back, I see that travel has never simply been my profession — it has been the quiet thread woven through my entire life.
In the late 1970s, I began working for an American company in southern Germany, refining my English and unknowingly opening the door to an international world that would shape my life.
After returning to my hometown of Trier, I began accompanying guests on their journeys. Caring for people far from home — anticipating needs, offering reassurance, gently smoothing the way — felt entirely natural. It felt personal.
In 1984, I founded my own travel agency and spent decades designing journeys throughout Europe and across the world. I didn’t just create these experiences — I personally accompanied many of them, guiding guests and ensuring every detail unfolded seamlessly. Over the years, I have explored so many corners of the world that there are hardly any blank spots left on the map I haven’t seen with my own eyes.
Those years taught me that true luxury lies in thoughtfulness, preparation, and the quiet confidence that every detail has been carefully considered.
Passing the agency on to my eldest son was a proud and meaningful milestone. Today, I devote myself fully to crafting bespoke journeys with experience, intuition, and genuine care.
Together with Jacqueline, I am personally responsible for the design and refinement of every program at BOUTIQUE DELUXE TOURS GERMANY — curating each itinerary thoughtfully and discreetly from behind the scenes.
Travel, for me, has always been about trust, connection, and making sure every guest feels beautifully cared for.
